If you are starting from the iconic Guggenheim Museum, head south on Avenida Abandoibarra towards the river. Cross the Zubizuri Bridge (the white curved bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava). Once you reach the other side, continue straight on Calle de la Ribera until you hit Plaza de la Virgen Blanca. From there, turn left onto Calle de la Estación and follow it until you reach Plaza Unamuno. The Estatua de Miguel de Unamuno will be in Unamuno Miguel Plaza, which is a short walk from there.

Public Transport
From the Abando train station, take the Metro Line 1 (the red line) towards Etxebarri. Get off at the 'Termibus' station (only one stop). Exit the station, and head east on Avenida de Gran Bilbao. Continue straight until you reach Plaza de la Virgen Blanca. From there, turn left onto Calle de la Estación and walk to Plaza Unamuno. The Estatua de Miguel de Unamuno is located at Unamuno Miguel Plaza, just a short walk away.
