Train
From Bilbao, head to the Abando train station, which is located in the city center. You can get there by walking or taking the metro to the 'Abando' station. Once at the Abando train station, purchase a ticket for the 'Guernica' train, which is operated by Renfe. The journey to Guernica takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at the Guernica train station, exit the station and head straight down the main road (Calle del General Aranda) towards the town center. Guernica is a small town, so it should be an easy walk.

To reach Guernica by bus, go to the Bilbao Termibus station located near the San Mamés metro station. From there, take the Bizkaibus line A3518 towards Guernica. The bus ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Guernica bus station, exit and follow the signs towards the town center, which is just a short walk away.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Bilbao.
