Walking
From the Bilbao city center, head southeast towards the Casco Viejo area. Walk down Gran Vía until you reach the Plaza de Federico Moyúa. From there, continue straight onto Calle de Uribitarte until you reach the Bilbao river. Cross the Puente de la Merced bridge to get to the opposite bank. After crossing, take a left onto Calle de la Merced and follow it until you reach the Plaza de la Encarnación. La Abadía de Atxuri is located at Encarnacion Plaza, 9B in the Ibaiondo district, just a short walk from the plaza.

Public Transport - Metro
Start at any metro station nearest to you. Take Line 1 (the 'Nervión' line) towards Etxebarri. Get off at the 'Bilbao' station. Exit the station and walk towards the Casco Viejo area. From there, walk to Plaza de la Encarnación. La Abadía de Atxuri is located at Encarnacion Plaza, 9B, Ibaiondo, about a 10-minute walk from the plaza.
