Car
If you are driving from Cabo de Gata, start by heading southeast on the main road (N-340) towards Almería. After approximately 7 km, turn right onto the AL-5107 road towards San José. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the village of San José. Once in San José, follow the signs for Parque Natural Cabo de Gata-Nijar. From there, take the road to Cala de Los Toros, which is located about 4 km from San José. You'll need to park in the designated area nearby since the final approach requires a short hike down to the beach.

From Cabo de Gata, take the local bus service to San José. Buses are operated by Transports de Almería and typically run several times a day. The journey will take around 20-30 minutes.
