From Cabo de Gata, take the AL-3115 road heading northeast. Continue on this road for approximately 12 kilometers (about 15 minutes). You will see signs directing you to the Torre de los Alumbres. As you approach, the tower will be visible on the hill to your left. There is a small parking area near the base for visitors.

Public Transportation
From Cabo de Gata, take the local bus service (Bus Line 11) towards Níjar. The bus will take approximately 30 minutes to reach the town of Níjar. Once in Níjar, you can take a taxi (approximately €10-€15) for the remaining 5 kilometers to Torre de los Alumbres. Make sure to confirm with the taxi driver that they know the location, as it is a well-known tourist destination.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk from the town of Níjar to Torre de los Alumbres. The distance is about 5 kilometers and will take roughly 1 hour. Follow the signs leading out of Níjar towards the Torre, taking the dirt path that leads to the hilltop. Ensure you have appropriate walking shoes and bring water, as the path can be uneven and exposed to the sun.
