Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're in the center of Cádiz, head towards Plaza de San Juan de Dios. From the plaza, take Calle de la Aduana and continue straight until you reach Calle del Mar. Turn left onto Calle del Mar and walk towards the waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, turn right and follow the promenade along the beach until you reach the Castillo de Santa Catalina. This historic site is nearby and offers great views of the sea and the city. After visiting the castle, continue along the promenade until you reach the area of La Caleta beach. From La Caleta, head towards the south until you find the entrance to the Recinto Amurallado, which is just a short walk from the beach.
