Walking
From the center of San Juan, head south towards the Alameda Hermanas Carvia Bernal. Walk along the main streets until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Rosa. Continue straight on Alameda Hermanas Carvia Bernal for about 200 meters. You will see the Baluarte de la Candelaria on your left. The fortress is located at Alameda Hermanas Carvia Bernal, 6, 11003 Cádiz.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer to take public transport, locate the nearest bus stop in San Juan. You can take the number 1 or 4 bus towards Cádiz. The fare is approximately €1.50. Get off at the stop called 'Plaza de España.' From there, walk towards Alameda Hermanas Carvia Bernal, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head east on Calle de la Rosa, then turn onto Alameda Hermanas Carvia Bernal, where you will find the Baluarte de la Candelaria.
