Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Santiago de Compostela to Camino del Prado in Madrid, take the AP-9 motorway towards A Coruña. Follow the signs for Madrid and merge onto the A-6. Continue on A-6 for about 550 km, then take the exit for M-30 toward Madrid Centro. Merge onto M-30 and follow signs for Centro. After approximately 4 km, take exit 18 for Atocha. Follow the signs for Paseo del Prado, and Camino del Prado will be on your right at P.º del Prado, 3198.

  • Public Transportation (Train)

    To reach Camino del Prado by train, start at Santiago de Compostela's train station (Estación de Tren Santiago). Purchase a ticket to Madrid (Madrid-Chamartín station). Trains run frequently, and the journey takes around 9-10 hours. Once in Madrid, exit the Chamartín station and take the Metro Line 1 (Light Blue Line) towards Valdecarros.
