If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Santiago de Compostela and head southeast on Rúa do Franco toward Rúa do Vilar. Merge onto N-550 and continue to follow it for about 30 km. Then take the A-6 and continue for approximately 500 km. Follow signs for Madrid and take exit 12A toward A-42/M-30. Merge onto M-30 and follow signs for Centro. Take exit 12 toward C. de las Huertas. Continue on C. de las Huertas to reach Cañas y Tapas at C. de las Huertas, 66, Centro, 28014 Madrid. Parking may incur costs ranging from €1 to €3 per hour depending on the area.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, walk to the Santiago de Compostela train station (Estación de Tren de Santiago). Take a train to Madrid-Chamartín station. The journey takes about 5 to 6 hours and tickets range from €30 to €50, depending on the class and time of booking. Upon arrival at Madrid-Chamartín, transfer to the Madrid Metro. Take Line 10 (the dark blue line) towards Puerta del Sur and get off at the Tribunal station. Change to Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Valdecarros and alight at Antón Martín station. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Cañas y Tapas located at C. de las Huertas, 66, Centro, 28014 Madrid. Follow C. de las Huertas signs to reach your destination.
