Take Line 2 (the red line) from any station on that line and head towards Cuatro Caminos. Change trains at the station called Banco de España. From there, exit the metro and walk towards the Retiro Park area. You will find the Monumento a Velázquez located at P.º del Prado, 11.

You can take the bus lines 10, 14, or 27 to the 'Neptuno' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk towards P.º del Prado and head east for about 5 minutes. The Monumento a Velázquez will be on your left at P.º del Prado, 11.

Walking
If you are already in the Retiro area, you can easily walk to the Monumento a Velázquez. Simply walk towards the Paseo del Prado from Retiro Park, and you will see the monument located at P.º del Prado, 11. It’s a straight walk and should take around 10 minutes depending on your starting point within the park.

Take the Light Rail Tram (Tranvía) to the 'Paseo del Prado' stop. Once you get off, walk a short distance towards the east along the Paseo del Prado, and you will find the Monumento a Velázquez at P.º del Prado, 11.
