If you are driving from Santiago de Compostela towards Madrid, take the AP-9 motorway towards A Coruña. After approximately 75 km, merge onto the A-6 motorway towards Madrid. Continue on the A-6 for about 500 km. Once you reach Madrid, follow signs for 'Centro' and 'Retiro'. Use exit 1 towards 'Glorieta de Carlos V'. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for 'Retiro' and merge onto C. de Alfonso XII. The Royal Observatory of Madrid will be on your right at C. de Alfonso XII, 3.
