    If you are driving from any point in the Canary Islands, you will first need to take a flight to Madrid, as Teatro Real is located in Madrid, not in the Canary Islands.     Travel from the Canary Islands to Madrid by booking a flight to Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (MAD). Upon arrival, take line 8 of the Metro (pink line) towards Nuevos Ministerios. At Nuevos Ministerios, transfer to line 10 (dark blue line) towards Puerta del Sur, and get off at the stop 'Opera'.
