Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Santiago de Compostela and take the N-550 road towards Madrid. Follow the signs for Madrid, which will eventually lead you to the A-6 highway. Continue on the A-6, and take the exit toward M-30 (Madrid Ring Road). Merge onto M-30 and follow it until you reach the exit for A-5 towards Badajoz. Continue on A-5 until you reach the city center of Madrid. Once you arrive in Madrid, follow signs for Centro. Use GPS or a navigation app to guide you to Plaza de Ramales, located at Centro, 28013 Madrid. Parking might be limited in the area, so consider using a nearby parking garage.

Public Transportation
To reach Plaza de Ramales by public transportation, start by taking a train or bus from Santiago de Compostela to Madrid. The AVE high-speed train is a convenient option that departs from Santiago de Compostela station and arrives at Madrid's Atocha station in about 6 hours. Once in Madrid, exit Atocha station and walk to the Atocha metro station (approximately 5 minutes). Take Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Pinar de Chamartín and change at Tribunal station to Line 10 (the dark blue line) towards Puerta del Sur. Get off at the next stop, which is Noviciado. From Noviciado, it is about a 10-minute walk to Plaza de Ramales. Follow signs for Centro, and you should easily find your way there. Note that tickets for the AVE train can range from €30 to €100, depending on how far in advance you book.
