Car
If you're driving from Toledo, take the A-42 highway towards Madrid. After approximately 70 km, merge onto the M-30 circular road and follow signs for Centro. Exit at the A-2 and take the exit toward C. de Bailén. The Historical Walls are located at C. de Bailén, 2, Madrid. Parking may be limited in the area, so consider using a public parking facility nearby.
Train
From major cities like Toledo or Cuenca, take a Renfe train to Madrid. The journey from Toledo takes about 30 minutes. Arrive at Madrid's Atocha station, then transfer to Metro Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Pinar de Chamartín. Get off at the 'Antón Martín' station, then switch to Line 3 (the green line) towards Moncloa. Get off at 'Opera' station, which is a short walk from C. de Bailén, 2. Look for signs directing you to the Historical Walls.
Bus
Take a bus from your location in Castile-La Mancha to Madrid. Companies like ALSA operate services from cities like Toledo, Albacete, and Ciudad Real. Once in Madrid, disembark at Estación Sur de Autobuses. From there, you can take Metro Line 6 (the gray line) to 'Nuevos Ministerios', then switch to Line 10 (the dark blue line) towards Puerta del Sur. Get off at 'Opera' station, which is near the Historical Walls located at C. de Bailén, 2.
