This will take you through beautiful mountain landscapes. Continue on C-16 until you reach the exit for Montserrat (Exit 55). After exiting, follow signs for Montserrat. The drive should take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your starting point. Note that there is a parking fee at Montserrat, which is approximately €6 for a full day.

  • Train and Funicular

    For those preferring public transport, take a train from the Pyrenees region to the town of Manresa. First, take a train to Manresa, which you can catch from major stations like La Seu d'Urgell or Puigcerdà. The train ride will take about 2 hours. Once in Manresa, transfer to the FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) line R5 towards Aeri de Montserrat or Monistrol de Montserrat. This train journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
