Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, you can start your journey from Barcelona, which is about 1 hour away. Take the C-58 highway towards Manresa. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit for the B-30 towards Montserrat. Continue on the B-30 until you reach the sign for Montserrat. Follow the signs to the Monastery (Monestir de Montserrat). You will arrive at the parking area near the monastery, where you can park your car. Note that there is a parking fee of around €7 for the day.

    To reach La Moreneta by public transport, take the FGC train from Plaça Espanya station in Barcelona. Look for the R5 line direction Manresa. The journey takes about 1 hour. Get off at the Aeri de Montserrat station. From there, you can take the aerial cable car (Aeri de Montserrat) to the top of the mountain, which offers stunning views. The cable car ride costs approximately €12 one way. Once you arrive at the top, it is a short walk to the Monastery where La Moreneta is located.
