Getting There

    If you are traveling by car, start on the C-58 highway from your location in the Catalonia Pyrenees. Follow the signs for Manresa and take the exit for the B-112 road towards Montserrat. Continue on the B-112 until you reach the Montserrat Monastery. There is a large parking area available for visitors; parking fees may apply, usually around €7 for the day.

  • Train and Funicular

    For those using public transportation, take a train from your nearest station to the FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) line towards Monistrol de Montserrat. The journey typically takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Monistrol de Montserrat station, transfer to the Montserrat Aeri cable car or the Cremallera rack railway, both of which will take you up to the Abbey. The cable car costs around €12.50 for a round trip, while the rack railway is approximately €11.50. Enjoy breathtaking views as you ascend!
