Car
If you're driving from Barcelona, take the AP-7 motorway towards Tarragona. Exit at 28 towards Vilafranca del Penedès. Follow the signs for Vilafranca del Penedès, continuing straight on the N-340 road. Once you reach the city, look for signs directing you to Plaça de Jaume I. The Basílica de Santa Maria is located in the square, and you can park nearby.
Train
From Barcelona Sants station, take the R4 train towards Manresa. Get off at Vilafranca del Penedès station. From the station, exit and walk straight along Carrer de la Rambla until you reach Plaça de Jaume I. The Basílica de Santa Maria will be right in the square.
Bus
You can take the Sagalés bus from Barcelona to Vilafranca del Penedès. The bus departs from Estació del Nord. After arriving at Vilafranca del Penedès bus station, head towards Carrer de la Rambla, which will lead you to Plaça de Jaume I. The Basílica de Santa Maria is located in the square.
