Getting there

Bus

From Girona city center, head to the Estació d'Autobusos (Bus Station) located at Avinguda de Ramon Folch. You can walk there in about 10-15 minutes from Plaça de la Independència. Once at the bus station, look for the bus service that goes to Tossa de Mar. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Buses run regularly, so check the schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive at Tossa de Mar, you will be dropped off at the main bus stop, which is within walking distance to the beach and town center.

Train and Bus

Begin at the Girona train station (Estació de Girona), which is about a 20-minute walk from the city center. Alternatively, you can take a local bus to the train station. From the train station, take a train to Blanes (trains run frequently), which takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Blanes, transfer to a local bus heading to Tossa de Mar. The bus ride from Blanes to Tossa de Mar takes about 30 minutes. Follow the signs to the main bus stop upon arrival in Tossa de Mar, which is close to the beach and town center.

Walking

Walking to Tossa de Mar is not feasible due to the distance (approximately 35 km). However, if you're looking for a scenic experience, consider walking to the nearby coastal paths leading towards Tossa de Mar. You can start from the beaches near Lloret de Mar, but be prepared for a long hike, and ensure you have sufficient time and supplies.
