Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can reach Aiguamolls de l'Empordà easily via the AP-7 motorway. From any point in Costa Brava, head towards the AP-7. If you are in the town of Figueres, take the exit for the N-260 towards Roses. Follow the N-260 for about 16 km until you see signs for Aiguamolls de l'Empordà. There is a parking area available near the visitor center.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a train from Barcelona to Figueres, which runs frequently and takes about 1.5 hours. Once in Figueres, transfer to the local bus service (Line 6) that goes directly to Aiguamolls de l'Empordà. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as it may not run frequently. A single train ticket from Barcelona to Figueres typically costs around 10-15 euros, and the bus fare is approximately 2 euros.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore the beautiful surroundings, consider biking to Aiguamolls de l'Empordà. There are several bike rental shops in towns like Roses and Empuriabrava. From Roses, you can follow the coastal bike paths, which lead towards the nature reserve. The distance is approximately 10 km and offers stunning views along the way.
