If you're driving from anywhere in Costa del Sol, take the AP-7 motorway heading towards Málaga. Follow signs for A-7 towards Algeciras and keep on the A-7 until you reach the exit for A-45 towards Córdoba. Continue on A-45 and merge onto A-4 towards Madrid. Once you approach Madrid, follow signs for the M-30 ring road and then take the exit towards A-5. After that, follow the signs for the city center and then for Plaza de España.
