If you are driving, take the A-5 motorway towards Trujillo. From Cáceres, it's approximately a 45-minute drive. Exit at junction 253 towards EX-208, and continue on EX-208 for about 20 km until you reach Trujillo. Pay attention to road signs directing you to Trujillo as you get closer. Parking is available in the city center.
Bus
For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Cáceres to Trujillo. The bus departs from the Cáceres bus station, and the journey takes about 50 minutes. Tickets cost approximately €5-€7. Make sure to check the schedule in advance, as the frequency may vary. Upon arriving at the Trujillo bus station, it's a short walk to the city center.
Train + Bus
You can also travel to Trujillo by taking a train to the nearest major station in Cáceres, then transferring to a bus. The train journey from Madrid to Cáceres takes about 3 hours. From the Cáceres train station, follow the signs to the bus station, which is a 10-minute walk. Then take the bus to Trujillo as described previously. Total cost may vary, so check current train and bus fares.
