Car
From Ourense, take the N-525 road heading northwest towards Monforte de Lemos. After about 20 kilometers, take the exit toward the N-120. Continue on N-120 for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction for the N-532. Merge onto N-532 and follow the signs for San Pedro de Rocas. After about 12 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to the Mosteiro de San Pedro de Rocas. The monastery is located directly off the road, and there is a parking area available.
Public Transportation
From Ourense, take the bus service to Monforte de Lemos. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Monforte de Lemos bus station, transfer to a local bus or taxi heading toward San Pedro de Rocas. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Mosteiro de San Pedro de Rocas, as the monastery is a well-known landmark. The total travel time including transfers should be around 1.5 hours.
Car
If you are coming from Santiago de Compostela, take the AP-9 highway toward Pontevedra. After about 80 kilometers, exit onto the N-525 toward Ourense. Continue on N-525 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for N-120. Merge onto N-120, and after about 15 kilometers, take the exit for N-532. Follow N-532 toward San Pedro de Rocas for about 12 kilometers, where you will find the monastery along the roadside.
