From the center of Girona, head towards the Rambla de la Llibertat. Once you reach the Rambla, turn left and walk towards the Pont de Pedra. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the Plaça de la Independència. From there, take Carrer de la Força and follow it until you reach the intersection with Carrer del Emili Grahit. Turn right and continue straight until you reach the Estació de Girona. From the train station, you can take a local bus towards the beach areas, specifically line 605 towards Platja d'Aro, which will take you close to El Portitxol. Get off at the stop near the beach and follow the signs towards El Portitxol.
