The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Banyoles bus station, exit the station and head towards Carrer de la Indústria. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Carrer del Rec Guèmol, where you will find Estany de Banyoles straight ahead.

From Girona's train station, take a train towards Figueres. Get off at the Banyoles stop (be sure to check the train schedule for the correct train). After exiting the train station in Banyoles, walk towards the town center. Head east on Carrer de la Indústria and then turn left onto Carrer del Rec Guèmol. Continue straight until you reach Estany de Banyoles, located on your right.

If you are already in the center of Girona, you can walk to Estany de Banyoles, which is approximately 20 kilometers away. Take Carrer de la Rambla towards Carrer del Nord. From there, follow the signs towards Banyoles, using the pathway and road signs. The walk will take around 4-5 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water with you.
