From the center of Girona, head to the main bus station located at Carrer de Barcelona. You can take line 5 (L5) towards 'Sant Ponç'. Once you're on the bus, stay on until you reach the stop for 'Estanyol'. From the bus stop, it is a 15-minute walk to Estanyol del Vilar. Head east on Carrer de la Vila until you reach the lake.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Girona. Start your journey from the city center and head towards the river Onyar. Follow the river bank until you reach the cycle path leading out of the city. Continue along the path until you reach Estanyol del Vilar, which is approximately 6 km from the city center. The ride takes about 30-40 minutes.

If you're up for a scenic walk, start from the Girona Cathedral. Walk down Carrer de la Força towards the Plaça de la Independència. Continue walking along Carrer de Santa Clara until you reach the river. Follow the path along the riverbank, which will eventually lead you out of the city. After about an hour of walking, you will reach Estanyol del Vilar. Enjoy the natural scenery along the way!
