Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Girona, walk to the 'Estació d'Autobusos de Girona' (Bus Station) located at Carrer de Pau Casals, 3. You can reach there by walking straight down Carrer de la Creu and then turning right onto Carrer de Pau Casals. Once you arrive at the bus station, purchase a ticket to Platja d'Aro. Buses to Platja d'Aro are frequent, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Platja d'Aro, follow the signs toward the beach. La Platja Gran is a prominent beach area that you can see as you approach the Mediterranean coast.

• Train and Bus

  From Girona, head to the 'Estació de Girona' (Train Station), located at Carrer de la Estació. Walk straight down Carrer de la Creu and then turn left onto Carrer de la Estació to reach the train station. Take a train to the 'Caldes de Malavella' station. After arriving at Caldes de Malavella, exit the station and catch a bus to Platja d'Aro. The bus stop is just outside the train station. Upon arrival in Platja d'Aro, follow the local signage towards the beach, which will lead you directly to La Platja Gran.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare service from anywhere in Girona to La Platja Gran. Simply ask the driver to take you to 'Platja d'Aro' and specify 'La Platja Gran' as your destination. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. This option is convenient if you are traveling with a group or have luggage.
