Car
If you're driving, head towards the A-2 highway and take exit 10 towards Madrid Centro. Follow signs for 'Centro' and merge onto Calle de Vallehermoso. Continue on this road until you reach Plaza de España. From there, turn onto Gran Vía and follow it until you reach the intersection with Calle de Ferraz. Turn left onto Calle de Ferraz and continue straight until you reach Plaza de la Armería, which is located adjacent to the Royal Palace.
Metro
To reach Plaza de la Armería using the Metro, find the nearest Metro station. Take Line 10 (the dark blue line) towards Puerta del Sur and transfer at the 'Príncipe Pío' station to Line 1 (the light blue line). Travel one stop to 'Callao,' then transfer to Line 5 (green line) and ride towards 'Casa de Campo.' Get off at 'Opera' station. From Opera, it's a short walk to the Plaza de la Armería; exit the station and head towards the Royal Palace, following signs to the Plaza.
Bus
To reach Plaza de la Armería by bus, locate a nearby bus stop with lines that head towards the city center. Take the bus line 001 or 002, which travels towards the Plaza de España. Get off at the 'Plaza de Oriente' stop. From there, walk towards the Royal Palace, and you will find the Plaza de la Armería just a short distance away.
