If you're driving from the center of Santiago de Compostela, head east on Rúa do Doutor Teixeiro. Continue onto Rúa de San Pedro and then take a slight left onto Av. de Barcelona. Merge onto the AP-9 highway following signs for A Coruña. After approximately 65 km, take exit 21 toward Madrid. Continue on the M-40 ring road and then take exit 7 toward A-5/Madrid. Follow the signs for Madrid and merge onto A-5. As you approach Madrid, follow the signs for M-30 to access the city center. Once in the city, follow signs for 'Puente de Segovia' until you reach the bridge, which is located near the historic center of Madrid.

From Santiago de Compostela, take a train from the Santiago train station (Estación de tren de Santiago de Compostela) to Madrid. Purchase a ticket for a direct train to Madrid-Chamartín. The journey takes approximately 6-8 hours. Once you arrive at Madrid-Chamartín, transfer to the Metro (Line 1) towards Valdecarros. Get off at the 'Antón Martín' station and transfer to Line 3 towards Villaverde Alto. Get off at 'Emperador' station. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Puente de Segovia. Head southwest on Calle de Vallehermoso, then turn right onto Calle de Segovia, which will lead you directly to the bridge.
