If you're driving, start from the center of Santiago de Compostela. Take Rúa do Hórreo towards Av. de Romero Donallo. Merge onto the AP-9 highway towards A Coruña. Continue on the AP-9 for about 80 km. Take the exit towards Madrid on the A-6. Follow the A-6 and signs for Madrid. Upon entering Madrid, follow signs for the city center until you reach C. de la Torrecilla del Leal. The restaurant is located at number 3 in the Centro district.

To reach Restaurante La Esperanza using public transportation, first make your way to the Santiago de Compostela train station. Take a train to Madrid, which will take approximately 6-8 hours. Upon arriving at Madrid's Atocha train station, exit the station and catch the Metro Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Pinar de Chamartín. Get off at the Anton Martín station. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk: head southeast on Calle de Atocha, then turn left onto Calle del León and continue until you reach C. de la Torrecilla del Leal. The restaurant will be on your right.
