Metro
If you are in central Madrid, take Line 1 (the light blue line) from any station in the city center, such as Sol or Gran Vía, towards Valdecarros. Transfer at the station 'Atocha' to Line 1 and head towards 'Pinar de Chamartín'. Get off at the next station, 'Atocha Renfe'. From there, exit the metro and walk towards the Parque del Retiro.
