The Charming Pl. de Alamillo: A Hidden Gem in Madrid's Heart

Getting There

• Metro

  To reach Pl. de Alamillo, take Line 5 (Green Line) from any station in Madrid. If you're near Gran Vía, board the train at Gran Vía station and head towards Casa de Campo. Get off at the 'Acacias' station, which is about 7 stops from Gran Vía. Once you exit the station, walk straight on Calle de Embajadores and take a left on Calle de La Ronda. Continue walking until you reach Pl. de Alamillo.

• Bus

  If you prefer taking the bus, locate the nearest bus stop and catch bus number 62 or 27. Both buses will take you towards the Centro area. If you board from the 'Antón Martín' stop, stay on the bus until you reach 'Paseo de las Delicias'. From there, walk along Paseo de las Delicias until you reach Pl. de Alamillo, which will be on your right.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Centro area, walking to Pl. de Alamillo is a great option! Start from the Plaza Mayor, head east on Calle de Toledo, continue until you reach Calle de Embajadores. Turn left and walk until you reach Pl. de Alamillo. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes and you’ll get to enjoy the vibrant streets of Madrid along the way.

• Taxi

  For a more comfortable option, consider taking a taxi. You can hail a cab from any street or use a ride-hailing app. Just tell the driver 'Plaza de Alamillo, Centro' and they will take you directly there. The taxi ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
