Walking
From the center of Malasaña, head south on Calle de San Vicente Ferrer towards Plaza del Dos de Mayo. Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle de Pez. Turn left onto Calle de Pez and keep walking straight. You will pass various shops and cafes. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Gran Vía. Turn right onto Gran Vía and walk for approximately 5 more minutes. You will see the Plaza de España on your left, just after passing the intersection with Calle de la Princesa.

If you prefer taking public transport, you can walk to the nearest metro station, Tribunal (Line 1) or Noviciado (Line 2) from Malasaña. From Tribunal, take the train towards Cuatro Caminos and transfer at the next stop, Gran Vía. Then, switch to Line 1 towards Pinar de Chamartín and get off at the Plaza de España stop.
