Walking
If you are already in the Retiro area, the best way to reach Cascada Parque El Retiro is by walking. From the entrance of Parque del Retiro, head towards the central area of the park. Follow the path that leads to the large lake, known as Estanque del Retiro. Once you reach the lake, look for a path that leads towards the west side of the lake. The entrance to the Cascada is located near the Paseo de Cuba, which is directly adjacent to the lake. You should see the stunning waterfall and monument as you approach.

If you are further away in the Retiro neighborhood, you can use public transport. The nearest metro station is 'Retiro' on Line 2 (the red line). From the 'Retiro' station, exit and head northwest. Walk for about 10 minutes, following signs towards the park entrances. Once you reach the park, follow the walking directions mentioned above to reach the Cascada.
