Follow the path towards the lake area and keep walking in the direction of the large monument to Alfonso XII. As you approach the monument, you will see a path leading you towards C. de Alfonso XII. Continue walking along this road, and Spain Gate will be located at C. de Alfonso XII, 1, on your left-hand side.

    To reach Spain Gate using the metro, find the nearest metro station to your location in Retiro. You can take Line 2 (the red line) from Retiro station towards Cuatro Caminos. Alight at the next stop, which is Banco de España. From there, walk towards C. de Alfonso XII, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Head down Calle de Alcalá until you reach the intersection, then turn left onto C. de Alfonso XII. Spain Gate will be on your right.
