From Málaga city center, walk to the main bus station (Estación de Autobuses de Málaga), which is located at Av. de los Guindos, 48. Look for the ALSA bus service to Nerja. Purchase a ticket to Nerja, which will cost around €5-€7 and takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Nerja, disembark at the main bus station. From there, it's a short walk to Plaza de España, where the Museum of the Village of Nerja is located. Head east on Calle Granada, turn right onto Calle Almirante Ferrándiz, and continue straight until you reach the plaza.

Train and Bus
Take the Cercanías train from Málaga Centro Alameda station to Torremolinos. Once in Torremolinos, exit the train station and walk to the nearby bus stop for the ALSA bus to Nerja. Purchase your ticket and board the bus. The journey will take approximately 1 hour from Torremolinos to Nerja. After arriving at Nerja's bus station, walk to Plaza de España by heading east on Calle Granada, turning right onto Calle Almirante Ferrándiz, then continuing straight until you reach the plaza.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Málaga city center directly to the Museum of the Village of Nerja at Plaza de España, 4. Taxis are available throughout the city, and you can also request one through a taxi app. The journey will take around 50 minutes and will cost approximately €70-€90 depending on traffic. The driver will take you straight to the entrance of the museum.
