Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the city center, a great place to begin is at Plaza de la Constitución. From there, head southwest on Calle Larios, one of Málaga's main shopping streets, until you reach the end of the street. At the intersection, turn left onto Avenida de la Alameda Principal. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Calle Cister. Continue along this road until you arrive at the foot of the hill where Castillo de Gibralfaro is located. The entrance to the castle is marked, and from here, you can follow the signs leading to the Mirador de Gibralfaro. The walk from here takes about 20-30 minutes uphill, but the views are worth the effort.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  You can take the bus to reach Mirador de Gibralfaro. From Plaza de la Constitución, walk to the nearby bus stop at Avenida de Andalucía. Look for bus number 35, which goes directly to the Mirador. The ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Gibralfaro' stop, and from there, it’s a short walk to the viewpoint. Just follow the signs that lead you up the hill towards the Mirador.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare app. Simply provide the driver with the address 'Camino Gibralfaro, s/n, 29016 Málaga.' The ride from the city center will take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic. This option is especially convenient if you're traveling with a group or have mobility issues.
