Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by driving towards Sant Pere de Vilamajor. From the center of Sant Pere de Vilamajor, follow the signs for Montseny Natural Park. You will need to navigate through local roads, which may not be well-marked, so keep your GPS handy. Once you reach the vicinity of Turó de la Cova, look for parking spaces available along the road. Note that parking may incur a small fee, depending on the location.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a train from Barcelona to Granollers. From Granollers, catch a bus to Sant Pere de Vilamajor. The bus journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Sant Pere de Vilamajor, you will need to walk to the trailhead leading to Turó de la Cova, which is roughly a 30-minute walk uphill. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.

• Hiking

  If you are already in Montseny Natural Park and prefer to hike, you can reach Turó de la Cova by following designated hiking trails. Start at the nearest trailhead, which is marked on local maps. Ensure you have a good map or GPS device, as trails can be winding and less visible. The hike may take about 1 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Bring water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the way.
