To reach the Portal of Zumalacarregui via public transportation, first take a bus to Pamplona from your location. Bus services operate from various towns in Navarre to Pamplona. Once you arrive at the Pamplona bus station, which is centrally located, you can either walk or take a local bus. If walking, head southeast on Avenida de Carlos III until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto P.º del Redín. The portal is located along this promenade. The bus fare from towns such as Tudela or Estella to Pamplona usually costs around €5 to €10 depending on distance.

If you are already in the city center of Pamplona, the Portal of Zumalacarregui is easily accessible by foot. From the Plaza del Castillo, head northeast on Calle San Nicolás. Continue until you reach the roundabout, where you will take the first exit onto P.º del Redín. The portal will be on your left. This walk should take around 15-20 minutes and is mostly flat, providing a pleasant view of the urban landscape.
