Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Bielsa, Huesca, which is the closest major area to the Balcony of Pineta. From Bielsa, take the A-138 road towards the north. Follow the road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the end of the road near the Pineta Valley. This parking area is the starting point for the hike to the Balcony of Pineta. Be aware that there may be a parking fee, usually around €5 per day, so make sure to have some cash ready.

Public Transportation
If you are utilizing public transportation, take a bus from Huesca to Bielsa. The bus service is operated by the Alosa company. Once you arrive in Bielsa, you will need to take a taxi or arrange for local transportation to the Pineta Valley parking area, as public transport does not reach the trailhead directly. Taxis might charge around €15-20 for the trip to the parking area. Once at the parking area, follow the marked trail that leads to the Balcony of Pineta, which is approximately a 2-3 hour hike depending on your pace.

From the Pineta parking area, the hike to the Balcony of Pineta requires following the well-marked trail. The trail is steep and can be challenging, so make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear. The hike is about 6 kilometers one way, with an elevation gain of approximately 600 meters. Be sure to bring water and snacks, and consider starting early in the day to enjoy the views and allow enough time for your return journey.
