Getting There

Car
If you're driving to Ibón de Bachimaña Alto, start by heading to the town of Torla, which is the gateway to Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. Once in Torla, follow signs for 'Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido'. Drive along the A-135 road until you reach the entrance to the park. There is a parking fee of around €6 per vehicle for the day. From the park entrance, continue driving to the Pradera de Ordesa parking area, which is the main access point for many trails. Hiking
From Pradera de Ordesa, you will need to hike to reach Ibón de Bachimaña Alto. Follow the well-marked trail that leads towards the Cola de Caballo waterfall. The trail is moderate to challenging and will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the waterfall. After the waterfall, continue on the path that leads to the Aguas Tuertas valley. The path will eventually lead you to Ibón de Bachimaña Alto.
