Bus
From Oviedo city center, head to the Estación de Autobuses (Bus Station) located at Calle de Uría. You can take the ALSA bus (line 2) towards Gijón. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gijón bus station, exit and walk towards the main road. Turn right onto Avenida de la Constitución and continue walking straight until you reach the Canal del Molino, which is located a short distance away.
Train
Make your way to the Oviedo railway station (Estación de Renfe), located at Calle de la Estación. You can take a train from Oviedo to Gijón, which takes roughly 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Gijón train station, exit and head towards the main street. Turn right onto Avenida de la Constitución and walk straight until you reach Canal del Molino, which is a short walk from there.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and would like to explore on foot, you can walk from Oviedo to Gijón, which is about 28 km away. Start from the Oviedo Cathedral and head west towards the A-66 highway. Follow the path that leads to Gijón; it will take you through beautiful countryside. However, this is a long walk (approximately 6-7 hours), so it is not recommended unless you are well-prepared.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Oviedo and ride towards Gijón. Follow the bike paths leading to Gijón, which is roughly 28 km away. The route is scenic, passing through beautiful landscapes and along the coast. Upon arriving in Gijón, navigate towards Avenida de la Constitución, and you will find Canal del Molino nearby.
