If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the town of Cangas de Onís. Drive on the N-625 road towards the village of Covadonga. After approximately 12 km, turn onto the AS-264 road and continue for about 8 km until you reach the parking area at the base of the Mirador d'Ordiales trailhead. Be aware that there is a small parking fee of around €5 for the day. From the parking area, the trail to Mirador d'Ordiales begins.

To reach Mirador d'Ordiales via public transportation, take a bus from Cangas de Onís to Covadonga. The bus service typically runs frequently, but it’s advisable to check the local schedule ahead of your visit. Once you arrive in Covadonga, you will still need to hike to the trailhead of Mirador d'Ordiales, which is about a 1.5-2 hour walk uphill. The bus fare is approximately €2-3.

From the parking area at the base of the trail, follow the well-marked hiking path that leads to Mirador d'Ordiales. The hike is moderate in difficulty and takes about 1-1.5 hours to reach the viewpoint.
