Had a wonderful, fun-filled food tour! Our guide, Iri, was excellent… her food selections were amazing and she shared many insights on the culture, area and fun facts. Highly recommend!

A DAY IN GUIPÚZCOA

The excursion was very good, the three places we visited (Hondabirria, Donosti and Getaria) were very interesting, and above all the guide (I don't remember his name, but I do remember that he was born in Sicily/Italy) was very friendly and explained everything very well. We had a good day and the weather was kind to us, it was cloudy all day, but it didn't rain and we weren't hot.

Great food tour!

Silvia, our guide, was fantastic! At the end of May by husband and I did a food tour with Do Eat Better Experience and our guide was Silvia. She knew the history of San Sebastian and throughout the evening as we walked to the various Pintxos bars Silvia would give us information about San Sebastian’s history and the culture of pintxos. I have some eating restrictions (I had checked with the company before signing up for the tour to see if the tour would work for me) and Silvia was very understanding about that and made the whole process seamless. The food and beverages we had were all delicious! We had tastings at five different locations, and beverages at four. All of the dishes and beverages were new to us so that made it fun. We willingly tried some foods we might not have normally ordered and they were all delicious! The information Silvia gave us on the tour, and later via text, made our next few days in San Sebastián so much more comfortable as we ordered food and make our way through the pintxos menus. We highly recommend this company and especially Silvia if you are visiting San Sebastián!
