Start at the city center in San Sebastián, specifically at Plaza de Gipuzkoa. From the plaza, head north towards Calle de Eguia and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto Calle de San Bartolomé. Follow this street as it curves and becomes Calle de San Jerónimo. As you walk, you will notice signs pointing towards 'Castillo de la Mota.' Continue straight on this path, which will lead you uphill. The trail is well-marked and will take you through a wooded area, providing some lovely views along the way. After approximately 20-30 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Motako Gaztelua, located at the end of Subida al Castillo. Enjoy the panoramic views of the city and the bay.
