We had an excellent experience visiting Santiago de Compostela from Porto, and a large part of it was thanks to our wonderful guide, Carlos Sousa Carlos provided exceptional service throughout the entire day. He was extremely helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable, explaining every detail about the city, its history, and its significance. He also gave us excellent advice on when to attend the Pilgrim’s Mass, which made our visit even more special. We had a fantastic time exploring Santiago with him. The organization was excellent: we left Porto, spent the day in Santiago, and returned to Porto all within approximately 10 hours, making it a very convenient and enjoyable day trip. We highly recommend Carlos Sousa and the company that he works for to anyone visiting Santiago de Compostela. His professionalism, kindness, and knowledge truly made the experience memorable. This was a great experience. We shared the tour with another couple we met on our cruise ship and they also enjoyed it. Marc was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, kind and a great conversationalist. It was crazy busy in Compostela de Santiago, but he managed to find parking and get us to the cathedral and pilgrim museum. We walked a couple sections of the Camino (English route) and though misting lightly, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were short on time, but he got us to the Tower of Hercules for a few pics and back to the cruise ship in time! I am so glad we did this tour.
