Getting There

Bus
From the center of Segovia, head to the Segovia Bus Station, which is located near the Plaza de la Estación. Look for the buses heading to 'El Escorial' or 'Madrid'. These buses typically run every 30 minutes. Once you board the bus, the journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. You will get off at the main bus stop in El Escorial. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the El Escorial Monastery. Follow the signs towards the Monastery, which is one of the main attractions in the area.

Walk from the center of Segovia to the Segovia Guiomar Train Station, which is about a 20-minute walk. Head southwest on Calle de Juan Bravo until you reach the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for a train to 'El Escorial.' The train ride takes about 1 hour. After arriving at El Escorial train station, exit and turn right, walking along the road until you reach a pedestrian path that leads directly to the El Escorial Monastery, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the train station.
