Public Bus
From the center of Segovia, head to the main bus station located near Av. del Padre Claret. Look for the bus line that goes to El Escorial; the bus number is 664. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the San Lorenzo de El Escorial bus station, exit the station and walk towards the Carretera de Guadarrama. The Finca de Cuelgamuros is about a 20-minute walk from the bus station. Head east on Av. de Juan de Borbón and then take a left onto Calle de los Reyes, following the signs towards the main attraction.
Train
Start your journey at the Segovia-Guiomar train station. Board the train heading towards Madrid and get off at the El Escorial station. The train ride takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at El Escorial station, exit and walk towards the bus terminal nearby. From there, take local bus number 664, which will take you closer to the Finca de Cuelgamuros. Disembark at the nearest stop and follow the signs which will lead you to the attraction. The total walking distance from the bus stop to the Finca is around 15 minutes.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk from Segovia to Finca de Cuelgamuros. Start at the Plaza Mayor in Segovia and head towards the north direction, following the signs to the hiking trails that lead to El Escorial. This walk is approximately 15 kilometers and would take around 3-4 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water along the way. This route offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
