    Getting There

    Bus

    From the center of Segovia, head to the bus station located on Avenida del Eresma. Take the bus towards Madrid (look for buses heading to 'Madrid' or 'Guadarrama'). The bus ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Guadarrama' stop. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Sierra de Guadarrama, which is a short walk away.

    Train

    Make your way to the Segovia-Guiomar train station. You can take a local bus or a taxi to reach the station, which is about 7 km from the city center. Once at the station, catch a train towards Madrid. Alight at the 'Guadarrama' station. From the station, you can either walk or take a local bus to reach Sierra de Guadarrama.

    Walking from Nearby Town

    If you find yourself in the nearby town of Guadarrama, simply follow the main road (A-6) towards the Sierra de Guadarrama. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the base of the mountain range. Look for trail signs that lead into the park area.
