Walk down Calle Sierpes, a popular shopping street, until you reach Plaza del Duque de la Victoria. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida de la Constitución. Turn left onto Avenida de la Constitución and head towards Parque de María Luisa. The Plaza de España will be directly in front of you as you enter the park.

Locate the nearest bus stop to you. From Plaza Nueva, take bus number 21 towards 'Cruz del Campo'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Glorieta de Becquer' stop. From there, it's a short walk. Head straight along Calle de José Luis de León, and turn right onto Avenida de la Palmera. Continue walking straight until you see the entrance to Parque de María Luisa. The Plaza de España will be inside the park.
